Service dog scholarship

Service dog scholarship program

Everyone deserves the opportunity to live an independent life. Whether a disability is visible or invisible, we understand the pawsitive impact a Service Dog can have on a person’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

At Michael’s Angel Paws, we are a compassionate community committed to helping individuals access the financial support they need to afford Service Dog training.

Thanks to the generosity of the Las Vegas community, local fundraisers, and business partnerships, we are proud to offer scholarships to those who need them most.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

At Michael’s Angel Paws, we are committed to providing scholarships to three core areas of focus:

  • Veterans
  • Las Vegas Local Non-Military (ages 18- 35)

Miltary Service

Michael’s Angel Paws sincerely appreciates everyone who has served in the United States Armed Forces. If you are a veteran and/or actively servicing, please complete each section of this form in full.

If you have not served in the military and are not applying for the Veteran Scholarship, please select “Does Not Apply” for each applicable question.

To help us better understand your Service Dog needs, please answer the following questions as thoroughly and accurately as possible. Every individual and disability is unique, and our goal is to ensure we can provide the right support to help you regain independence and improve your quality of life.

To ensure the success of each Service Dog Team, Michael’s Angel Paws reserves the right to remove a scholarship should the dog or handler show signs of aggression, or the team fails to meet Service Dog module benchmarks.

Michael’s Angel Paws also can not guarantee that your dog can pass the Service Dog Program. Because of this policy, we encourage you to also apply with other agencies.
