Welcome to the Michael's Angel Paws Community Dog Program Family! We are excited to meet your pup and you, as you participate in our next group or private lesson, where every dog is treated like a part of the family. Our top notch, affordable dog training is available to everyone throughout the Las Vegas Valley community. We proudly service the Northwest, Summerlin, Henderson, Anthem, Sun City Anthem, Southwest, and Boulder City.
Our Community Dog Training is all about teaching the pet parent how to communicate in a fun, positive, and educational environment to bring out the best in your pup and you. We realize that every dog is unique in his learning ability, just like our two-legged kids, so our training philosophy is to understand how each pup learns and then apply various positive reinforcement techniques, to achieve your various training goals with your pup. Our training philosophy isn't one size fits all; it is as unique as your pup, which puts us ahead of the pack.
We are pleased to offer the following to help your pup and you reach your fullest potential and more....

Agility for Fun 1.0
The fun and exhilarating world of Agility begins with learning many of the agility obstacles, such as the single jump, double jump, chute, tunnel, weave poles, and tire jump, to name a few, while building your pup's and your confidence to work as a team to run an agility course at the end of class. All of the obstacles are taught in a step by step format to build confidence as you both progress. We also focus on communication with your buddy as you learn to run your first agility course with your pup. This is a six week program that meets once a week for an hour, in an outdoor, fully enclosed park.
Agility for Fun 2.0
It's all about running different types of agility courses to take what you've learned in our Agility for Fun 1.0 and put it all together. We will cover longer courses, with an introduction to various turns used in the agility world, while increasing the difficulty in running the course. We continue to work on deepening the communication with your pup as you push each other to new levels of mutual understanding. This is a six week program that meets once a week for an hour, in an outdoor, fully enclosed park.
Rally-O for Fun
It's a new dog sport that combines traditional competition obedience with a flare for working as a team to complete various tasks at each station. We will introduce you to all 26 stations, in a step by step way and then begin to link all of the stations together for endless possibilities of new courses. We begin with teaching your pup a halt cue and working towards more complex cues, such as a 180 turn, 360 turn, and so much more. This is a five week program that meets once a week for a hour. We highly encourage your pup and you to have completed our Fun with Obedience and/or Puppies! Puppies! class.
Trick and Clicks

Private One on One Training
We come to you and develop a training protocol specific to your needs, for your dog. We begin with how dogs learn and then build from the foundation to what behaviors need to be addressed. This is great for potty training issues, counter-surfing, digging, separation anxiety, and manners, as well as puppies that aren't old enough to join our group classes. We also offer a package of five lessons.
This is a series of 14 consecutive lessons where one of our trainers picks up your dog, and takes him on a field trip to work on basic obedience skills and appropriate public manners. We begin with a foundation of little to no distractions, and slowly increase your pup's distraction levels, as he learns to respond to the pet parent at all times, in any situation. Our trainer will give you a recap of your pup's adventure and a quick 15 minute follow-up lesson to demonstrate behaviors from their latest field trip.
