Our Trainers
Helping Others Pawsitively Every Day

Born and raised in Illinois, my childhood passion for animals included horses, dogs and cats; however, my highest interest seemed to be with the dogs.

I have two Cocker Spaniels which I call my boyz, (Isaac & Izzy) and currently a foster pup, Phantom, who I am training while her owner is deployed to Kuwait.

My career in Marketing & Advertising has moved me to various states over the years; however, Las Vegas has been my home for the past nine years and I truly enjoy the community and opportunities the city has to offer.

I hold a high priority for Contribution and Service to individuals and the community, which has always been a passion of mine, and now working with Michael’s Angel Paws I can work with animals and their people, and give back in the way I love.

I am currently obtaining my trainer certification through Penn Foster.

Being an only child, I grew up with quite a few “fur siblings”. That plus being a natural teacher, I became a novice dog trainer at a very early age. It wasn’t until I was much older and rescued my own dog that I was able to attend my first dog training courses. My rescue, Hunter, and I quickly moved through the dog training classes and we became a certified therapy team within a year.

About a year after Hunter and I became a team, I graduated from California State University Northridge with a BA in Deaf Studies. I then attended Bergin University of Canine Studies and graduated with an Associate of Science in Assistance Dog Education in 2011. Since then I have been training service and therapy dog teams and constantly continuing my canine education. My other passion is training basic obedience classes as all levels of dog training requires the fundamentals that are key to a dog’s training and future.

My husband and I moved to Las Vegas with our four fur kids in October of 2014. In addition to dog training, I am a wedding and family photographer. Yosemite, Harry, Brooklyn and Hunter (order as seen in photo) are excited for their human brother, arriving in June 2016.
